 Morat Insurance Services, Inc. was established in 1951, as a small "in home" agency by Bill Morat, founder. With just a table, phone and a file cabinet in his bedroom, Mr. Morat started writing insurance in the Life and Health market, and then later branched out to the property and casualty division, specializing in auto and homeowners and offering to his clients low monthly installments.
Mr. Morat is retired now and his daughter, Jan Morat Henderson (left), a licensed agent since 1981, is President and runs the agency, the same way her Dad taught her over the 35 year period that they worked together. Jan says many times:

Jan strives to continue to run this business the way he taught us, with his slogan "Do it Right the First Time!"
One of the biggest successes Morat boasts about is the fact that they represent more than 15 companies which enables them to shop the rates every 6 months and stay on top of who has the best price. Jan Henderson, President, has been a licensed agent since 1981, 33 years of experience, along with Nancy Middlebrook, office manager and licensed agent who has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Ashley Gomez is also a licensed agent, with 12 years experience and Bonnie Servantes, employee for 8 years is Bookkeeper and CSR for the agency, and licensed auto club agent.
